Come to think of it, what was the real difference between Heaven and Hell? Maybe there wasn’t any difference; maybe they were exactly the same. Maybe everyone ended up in Heaven, no matter how meanly they’d lived their lives. That would’ve explained why Heaven seemed to be filled with jerks.

All the chapters I have are now numbered. I completed the beginning of what is now Chapter 17 before writing the end of Chapter 16. Chapter 16 is a new idea, needed to provide a little more expository on a new setting. This afternoon, despite all the people in this house, I wrote the chapter to follow up on the last, the cynicism resolver. At least, it sorta does that. But it's heavy stuff. Afraid of philosophy? Wear a hard hat.

It is a rather metaphysical tale on the whole, though, so some preparation of the job site wouldn't hurt.

I just did something amazing. I wrote. I picked up Project Milk and I wrote. I in fact did a little work on a couple chapters and the climax, after having let it marinate for…well, for a couple years. I wrote another chapter tonight, specifically the one following the one from my last entry. I had an interesting idea to flesh out the core notion, so I ended up with an abstract series of vignettes.
